Jay learned business skills at an early age by studying the example of his grandfather, one of the first successful real estate developers in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Soon after his grandfather passed away, Jay also learned the critical importance of estate planning--due to an inadequate plan, a significant portion of his grandfather's estate was subjected to high taxes and legal fees. Motivated by this experience, Jay decided to pursue a career in financial planning, so he could help individuals and businesses avoid the mistakes his grandfather had made.
After graduating from Gwinnett College, Jay went to work with one of the top financial planning practices in Atlanta. There, he served clients with an average net worth of $5 million, providing a full spectrum of services: retirement planning, investment planning, tax planning, estate planning/wealth transfer, and business planning.
With over eight years of experience, Jay now specializes in the unique needs of high net worth individuals, business owners, retirees, entertainers and professional athletes. He develops and implements planning strategies for wealth conservation and transfer, wealth accumulation, and business planning, coordinating his efforts with attorneys, CPAs, and investment advisors--with the ultimate satisfaction and financial security of his client always in mind.
Jay resides in Suwanee, GA with his wife, Leah. He is active in his church teaching a pre-k Sunday school class, and participates in various community organizations and charities. He is a member of NAIFA as well a Chairman’s Club member at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
